1.32 - Murderglave



Another small update to welcome the coming of the MURDERGLAVE's art. Look forward to updates coinciding with Discipline art drops.

Changelog

Changes and Clarification

- Increased all instances of Foes inflict Fray by 1 point.
- Fixed Foe Grit values.
- Clarified that Vigor adds to the range of ranged attacks as well.
- Added a short portion in the combat section about incapacitated units. They are treated as still being on the field, but they do not occupy the space they're in.
- The Taxing Technick tag now has the following text: Once you use this Technick, you cannot use it again until the end of the next round.
- Renamed the "Trip" Flourish into "Knock Prone" and the "Disarm" Flourish into "Unbalance".
- Charge X clarifies that it is per Venture, not per Relief.
- Added a "Starting Debt" portion in Kadungganan Creation as the final part of creation.

Balancing

Ayam Hunter
- Clarified that the Ayam Hunter's "Keep Them Off Me!" Discipline Mechanic to have the following text instead: "The ayam utters frightening barks, pushing all foes adjacent to by 1 space."

Mangangayaw
- Clarified that in the Mangangayaw's Second Mastery, the damage from Gleaming does not knock you out of Gleaming.
- In the Mangangayaw's First Mastery: Astride Waves, the text that says "When you’re Raiding, Burning, or Smoking, all your attacks are also Strengthened" has been replaced with "All melee attacks against you while you're Raiding, Burning, or Smoking suffer +1 Curse."

Bladeweaver
- In the Bladeweaver's Discipline Mechanic: Swordmastery, added the following text: You can only spend a Swordmaster Die 1/round.
- Clarified this in Long Arm Defense: If you roll higher, you deal 1d6 Force damage and may quickstep 1 space before the attacker’s attack against you is resolved.

Murderglave
- Second Mastery, included the following text: You can now have a maximum of 5 Pain, and are knocked out of Penitent Stance when you go beyond 4 Pain.
- Soul Eater now has the Taxing Tag and has the following text: Attack: Pull the target 1 space before making the attack. If you cannot pull them, this attack automatically misses. Melee Spiritual Attack. On hit, deal 1d4 soul damage. If the target has Enmity to you, deal 1d6 soul damage. After dealing damage, push the target 3 spaces.
- Murderglave Inflict Violences have been given lore.
- Changed Regretful Reckoning, now has the following text: Pull the target 2 spaces. Deal 1 piercing soul damage.

War Balyan
- War Balyan's Summon Sword Diwata has been changed fluffwise to Summon Sword Ancestor and has the following Lore: A sword umalagad or ancestor spirit possesses you, and you strike with the strength and speed of a thousand ancient warriors.
- War Balyan's Fury of Lawana Sinigida now has the following Grit 1: Datu Sumangga’s Possession. The ancient warrior who raided the shores of Baik Hu possesses you, in the name of Lawana Sinigida. You are also counted as a Venom Idol until the Venom Idol is destroyed, but you are not counted as a summon.
- War Balyan's Testament of Dakhari Barangaw now has the following Grit 1: Kadungganan Kabungaw’s Exploits. Kadungaw, the ancient warrior that fought and died for his loved one Bubung Ginbuna, possesses you, filling you with lonely victory. You are now counted as a Victory Idol as well until the Victory Idol is destroyed, but not as a summon. While you are a Victory Idol, you cannot be forcibly moved.
- War Balyan's Lightning Bolt of Jamiyun Kulisa now has the following Grit 1: Thunderous King Rajaraya Karagrag. The thundering datu Karagrag, who protected his wife with thunderous boasts, overcomes you, and brings the strength of the thunderclap into the battlefield. The Galvanized target can be damaged now as well when you consume it. You also become Galvanized until you consume it.

Mender
- Mender's Rumsua Palm now has the following text: Attack: Ranged Spiritual Attack. On hit, deal 2 soul damage. Effect: Push the target 1 space. If the target collides with an ally, the ally suffers no damage from the collision, and that ally’s next attack against the target gains +1 Fate.

Flower Necromancer
Plant Flowers is now a Flourish. At Second Mastery, they get the following Plant Flower action:

Mantiw Ghost Flower. Plant a Flower that becomes a Summon that is a walking ghost flower goblin. A mantiw is a phantasm in Sword Isle folklore. As a Summon, they have no Speed, but they deal 1d4 + your Prominence as damage when a foe exits adjacency from them. That means if a foe leaves an adjacent space but enters into anoter adjacent space, they do not exit adjacency. However, if they are pushed out of adjacency, the Mantiw can attack. You can only put down 2 Mantiw Ghost Flowers per combat.

Strifesinger
- Rhapsodic Note is now a Close Wall 3.

Sarimanok Knight
- Fowl Strike now knocks the target prone on the combo instead of Juggling.
- Coordinated Heaven Slash now juggles instead of unbalancing.
- Manaul Rips the Earth now has the Effect: Push the target 1 space away and put down Size 1 Blocking Terrain in their space. The Grit 1 Enhancement Earth Arises now knocks targets prone. The Grit 2 Enhancement Heaven Crashes Down is now 1/scene.

Heavenspear
You can now Unbind twice with the First Mastery, and thrice per round with the Second Mastery. The Second Mastery additionally has the following text: If you incapacitate Chattel with Unbind, you can choose to pierce them through with a Skyshrike, keeping them incapacitated but not killed. While they are pierced through by the Skyshrike, they are removed as a unit from the combat, and they are treated as having lost a morale roll.
