0.7.2 Revisions and Patches

Ohoy, Manggugubat!

For this newer update, here's a few more things as I consolidate the game's mechanics. 2 New Professions for your troubles. We're almost done with all of the planned Professions!

Advancement

You gain 2 points to spread across Strike and Sorcery per round now, to encourage build flexibility and "gish" builds that can do Strike and Sorcery. You can however only raise Strike and Sorcery to a maximum of 7.

Mandalas

The twelve polities are turned into the Five Major Mandalas, each one with a particular impetus to join the war. They are the Five "Major" Mandalas because they are actively putting themselves into the war. These are the Lakanate of Virbanwa, the Rajahnate of Gatusan, the Sultanate of Akai, the Confederation of Apumbukid, and the Nation of Mayi. Each Mandala has more information attached to them now, for more of that political goodness. The other polities exist as Petty Mandalas, which do not have an impetus for war and have their own petty wars to worry about. However Manggugubat can still choose their origin from them by reading the Petty Mandalas section in the Kitatak Copperplate Inscription, page 306.

NEW PROFESSIONS:

Karimlan Kabalyero. Occult Protector. A warrior taught in the ways of the ancient timawa of Diwa Kaliginida, the Goddess of Murder. With your Kinaadman, you harness your passions and turn them into constructs and weapons of darkness, giving yourself wholly to your cause of protecting others.

Mambabarang. Occult Control. A skilled sorcerer-witch, with a Kinaadman empowered by a pact with something greater. They lock down enemies with sympathetic witchcraft and sorcerous insects and mentala.

More tweaks and fixes:

General now has the following benefit: Once per venture, the General may give an ally that they can see 1 Precision.

Bravery and Spirituality

You no longer add your Strike to your BRV and Sorcery to your SPI.

Extra Damage

There is no longer a cap on Extra Damage.

Gahum

Gahum is replaced with Edge. Edge is a representation of your tactical advantage, positioning, opportunity, reading of the battlefield, as well as you exerting your stamina or innate power, whether it be puhon or gahum. Inspired by FFTA2, Tactics Ogre, and Triangle Strategy, Edge respires at a rate of 1 per Round. Gahum Techniques (now renamed as Expert Techniques) now no longer have a Commit and Spend dichotomy, they're all Spend now. And depending on their effects, they might need 1, 2, or 3 Gahum spent.

Conditions

New Condition: Frightened: You suffer 1 Penalty to all attacks and deal half damage, rounded up

Crashed now has the following text: You cannot perform any actions, reactions, and cannot flank.

Grappled now has the following text: You are Immobilized beside an opponent and can’t flank. This condition ends when the grappler chooses not to maintain the grapple, you are forcibly moved to a space not adjacent to the grappler, or if the grappler becomes Incapacitated.

Prone now has a line that says you can't flank.

Equipment

Gave the sugob a Thrown range.

Professions

All Professions have been updated to match the changes.
